Asheville Improv Collective and Disclaimer Stand-Up Lounge are teaming up for the first ever Asheville Comedy Short Film Competition. We’re excited to be able to offer a place for future and current filmmakers to showcase their videos and a chance to win a (modest) cash prize, the admiration of your peers, and a trophy to hold aloft while you gloat. We’ll accept videos from anywhere in the world, but you have to be there to win. Please read the rules and submission instructions below.

The competition will be held at THE BLOCK off biltmore in downtown Asheville (39 South Market St.) at 7 pm.

The shorts will be judged by three judges and the audience will act as the fourth and deciding judge if it comes down to that.
